The Flymo Contour 500 XT Electric grass trimmer and lawn edger. The quick and easy way to trim and edge the contours of your lawn. The Contour range has been designed with comfort in mind, the main two features which demonstrate this are the soft grip handle and the adjustable shaft length. The main handle is also adjustable to give greater control whilst operating the trimmer.

The Flymo Contour 500 XT is powered by a powerful 500w electric motor for easy cutting. It uses a double auto-line cutting system and has a robust metal shaft construction. The head swivels to convert the use from grass trimmer to lawn edger. The Contour XT has a unique wheel design for easy, accurate edging. A plant guard has been added which allows safer trimming right upto your plants.

The 500 XT model has a new feature designed for shrub areas. A foot release lever has been added to the base of the unit, which allows the shaft to adjust into a horizontal position, ideal for getting below shrubs and garden benches etc.. take a look at the images below to see this.

Although this trimmer has been packed with high end features the weight has been kept to a mere 3.5kg. All Flymo products are supplied with a 12 month warranty.

The Trimmer uses a 1.5 mm cutting line handy to know when you need a replacement line spool.

The Cutting line guide allows the user to see exactly where the cutting line is. Preventing the line from being worn away when trimming against hard surfaces. 

The cable can be stored on the unit which keeps it nice and tidy. A quick release button by the top handle releases the cable hook at the top of the shaft saving a little time.
